HR Manager

Our client is a distinguished and well-regarded company in the Eastleigh area that provides quality products to their industry. The company is privately owned and has been operating for nearly 50 years. They are currently looking to appoint an experienced HR Manager to join their collaborative team. Role: HR Manager Where: Eastleigh area Salary: Up to £55,000pa dependant on experience

Responsibilities will include:

  • HR Correspondence to include bonus outcome letters, appraisals, legal letters etc.
  • Disciplinary meetings.
  • Ensure the company's HR Database is up to date, accurate and complies with legislation.
  • To report at monthly Senior Management meetings on relevant HR topics.
  • Monitor and advise on training requirements.
  • Health & Safety duties to include risk assessment production and reviews, policies, H&S training.
  • Develop policies and ensure changes to reflect current employment law.
  • New starter and refresher training portal management.
  • Mental Health Policy (Safeguarding) Organising MH Awareness afternoon; research and write MHsurveys; liaise with MH First Aiders.
  • Company webinars - Research and arrange webinars from relevant associated bodies.
  • Arranging and delivering environmental, school and college projects.
  • Charitable giving co-ordination/ volunteer day liaison.
  • Management of office supplies.
  • Organising and overseeing company events/days.
  • Reporting to the Managing Director.

You will need:

  • 5 years + experience within a similar role.
  • To be CIPD qualified (above level 5).
  • Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development.
  • To have worked within a smaller company environment.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • To be hands on and flexible in your approach.
  • A stable career history.
  • To be self-motivated with a 'can do' attitude.
  • Confident IT skills including MS Office, Breathe HR, LMS365 preferable. Email and Internet
