£50,000 - £54,000 + package

A leading business based in Bath are seeking the experience of a HR & Finance Systems Engineer/ Developer to join the team as part of their digital transformation journey.

This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by developing and maintaining cutting-edge systems that streamline the HR and finance processes.

HR & Finance Systems Engineer (iTrent / Unit 4) Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement software solutions to automate and streamline HR and finance processes.
  • Collaborate with HR, finance, and IT teams to gather requirements and define project scope.
  • Customize and configure existing systems to meet specific business needs.
  • Develop integrations between HR and finance systems to ensure seamless data flow.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure reliability and accuracy.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies relevant to HR and finance systems.

HR & Finance Systems Engineer Qualifications:

  • Proven experience developing and implementing HR and finance systems, ideally iTrent and Unit 4
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
  • Strong understanding of database management systems (e.g., SQL, Oracle).
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle E-Business Suite).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
