JOB TITLE: School Finance & HR Assistant - Part Time

LOCATION: Brighton - Car Parking Available

HOURS: Monday- Friday 9am - 3pm. Or flex 4 days, 20 hours

SALARY: £14 p/h

DURATION: Ongoing temp until summer

Are you an experienced Finance & HR Assistant seeking a role in a dynamic educational environment? Look no further!

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling absences and inputting on the HR system
  • Assisting in the smooth running of the recruitment and selection process, from vacancy postings to candidate coordination.
  • Ensuring compliance with Safer Recruitment procedures and legislation.
  • Dealing with starters, leavers, and contractual changes administration.
  • Maintaining employee files and HR administration systems.
  • Providing support for various HR processes
  • Assisting day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, payroll, and banking transactions
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and preparing financial reports.
  • Managing the school's financial management system (FMS) with proficiency.
  • Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a finance role
  • Previous experience with HR administration.
  • Excellent numerical and analytic skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
