Location: North East based (with commutable distance to Darlington), with requirement to undertake some UK travel - hybrid working available
Salary: competitive, plus £5,200 car allowance & 10% bonus 

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our Group HR Team to support the business objectives and development of Group Functions, including Finance, IT etc.

Working closely with key stakeholders within your designated business area, you will be responsible for building the strategic HR partnering relationship with the senior leadership teams and delivering HR people plans, closely aligned with organisational strategy.

You will be also involved in delivering key HR initiatives and managing the day-to-day operational aspects of HR within your business area, including Employee Relations, Performance Management, Absence Management, Recruitment, Learning & Development, and Reward & Recognition in order to develop processes and enhance managers capability.

About you

  • First and foremost, you will be an accomplished HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor with demonstrable experience of partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver data led people strategies and implementing action plans.
  • You will be commercially focused
  • You have a pragmatic approach, with people at the heart of everything that you do, and your customer service ethos will guide you.
  • You’ll have strong influencing skills and ability to build effective relationships at all levels, with excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • You’ll have analytical, systems and design thinking with an ability to measure impact of interventions across the business to identify return on investment and benefit realisation.
  • You’ll be prepared to provide constructive challenge and able to deal straightforwardly and honestly with challenging situations
  • You’ll be adept at objectively analysing and evaluating multiple sources of evidence to create insight, identifying sources of bias, trends, themes and connections
  • You’ll be passionate about the impact that great HR services can make, with a good all-round understanding of what it takes to make a big impact.
  • You’re great at working on multiple projects from brief to completion, while instilling huge confidence in those you work with by being totally ‘on it’.
