An exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner to join a large, matrix organisation in central Cambridge.

Working with a population of around 2000 alongside another HR Business Partner, HR Administrator and Shared Services team, this is a role you can really add value and make a difference.

Allocated to a number of stakeholders, who are highly skilled and experts in their field, you will provide a strong HR Business Partnering support across a generalist HR remit, your day will be varied and busy and you will build strong relationships with your stakeholders providing support, guidance and implementing strategy for their teams

DUTIES

  • Partnering with multiple stakeholders supporting and delivering the strategy for the wider team
  • Building relationships with peers in HR as well as your stakeholders, you will collaborate, drive company values and culture
  • Lead on all learning and development, employment law and employee relations, policy and process, recruitment and projects for your business areas, (plus much more)
  • Drive talent management, workforce planning and be a forward thinking and always look for continuous improvement.
  • Manage ER cases and be responsible for all negotiations and outcomes, work with the ER team on more complex cases.
  • Navigate a complex and large matrix organisation, navigating policy and processes and looking at continuous improvement

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • HR Business Partner experience within a large and complex organisation
  • Experience leading projects, including design and implementation
  • Strong Generalist HR knowledge, including strong ER case management including disciplinary and grievance
  • Experience from any sector, but a regulated or unionised environment within public sector is desirable
  • Be a strong communicator, a relationship builder and experience working with multiple stakeholders
