Excellent HR Advisor opportunity available on a Fixed Term Contract basis to start as soon as possible until the end of March 2019 working for a leading public sector organisation based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. This role is available on a part time basis working 22.5 hours per week. 

Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Supporting recruitment of officers and staff for the team as required, including preparation of advertisements and liaison with relevant recruitment agencies, drafting interview question templates and completing administration procedures
• Providing advice to Managers and staff across a range of HR and development issues including recruitment and selection, absence management, discipline and grievance, career development, successful planning and job evaluation
• Undertaking casework and projects and formulating proposals and action plans
• Coach and train line managers in HR skills by way of design, preparation and delivery of presentations
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation
• Ensure maintenance of accurate HR records

Experience and Skills:
• Graduate member of the CIPD or equivalent experience
• Recent experience working in a HR generalist environment and evidence of applying HR policies and procedures
• Demonstrate up to date knowledge of employment law
• Ability to travel within Sheffield and on occasions to Norfolk and London
• Experience of working in a public sector organisation ( desirable )
• Experience of implementing organisational change ( desirable )
