Housing Support Worker

NECA Recruitment are currently recruiting for Housing Support Workers in the Sunderland, Durham and Tyne and Wear areas.

The roles involve working mainly with young people aged between 16-24 years who suffer from a number of emotional and behavioural difficulties. The successful candidates must be educated up to Level 3 (health and social care) and are able to work on a ad-hoc basis. The main duties of the role are to provide direct care both day and night to the young people and to undertake other supportive tasks and duties. You will be required to accurately maintain records and care plans. Other duties will include light domestic tasks and food preparation. The welfare of the young people is paramount in this role. There will be shifts to cover both days and waking nights so flexibility is paramount.

An enhanced DBS check will be required for this role.

This role may suit a candidate who is looking for a 2nd source of income as we can not guarantee the hours. Enhanced hourly rates over the Christmas Period.
