Housing Property Officer
Location: Aberdeen
Temporary - initial 12 week period but may extend
£13.27 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday - 9.00am to 5.00pm


Pertemps are currently recruiting on behalf of a well known Public Sector organisation, for a Housing Property Officer.

Main Purpose of the role:
  • To support in the delivery of a place where all people can prosper by providing an efficient lease signing, termination, and void process to customers and colleagues
  • Contribute to helping tenants and their families sustain their tenancies by working with the Housing and Support Officer, other colleagues and external partners
  • Provide information to tenants and signpost them to services
  • Maintain accurate records and updates systems regarding terminations , the void process, keys for properties etc
  • Raise orders and process payments
  • Respond to queries from colleagues, customers and other partners
  • Provide general administration support for the department
Key Skills and Experience:
  • Proven ability to deliver public services to required standards
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and using own initiative
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Able to deal with the public in difficult, confrontational and sensitive situations
  • Able to work to challenging deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Proven ability of good record keeping
  • Able to use a range of computer packages eg MS Office
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience of Housing and Homeless legislation and policy and related social policies preferred
