Your new role
As a housing options officer you will be providing efficient and effective assistance to the Housing Options Manager, you will also be providing high quality and accurate advice on potential housing options and solutions to applicants. You will also required to carry out efficient and timely administrative processes and make sure that vacant properties are allocated to meet targets and objectives. This role would suit a strong housing administrator.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed you must have relevant up to date knowledge of housing legislation and be able to work confidently around Section 184 notices and assessing housing needs. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to be empathetic and supportive to your case load. You will have excellent administration and organisation skills and have the ability to manage a high volume workload. You must also be able to use housing databases and Microsoft Office.
