Housing Data Management Analyst

You will be expected to:

Support the delivery of the Data Management Strategy
Lead on specifying organisation data requirements, and coordinating data management requirements from the business
Implement the change control in the data warehouse, specifying complex change to Technology Services as necessary
Specify changes to Technology Services on the functional requirements of the business
Manage the Property Database, including monitoring housing stock compliance, repairs, maintenance, lease and rental information
Provide timely and accurate management and ad hoc reports across the organisation
Produce dashboards, report scheduling and make technical changes to the reporting systems
Use tools to extract data from the various data sources routinely to meet agreed specifications
Undertake informal training for staff on the use of business intelligence tools for producing ad hoc reports
Ensure that changes to data warehouse and reporting structure are in line with data quality expectations through negotiation with system/data owners
Assist with technical development and implementation for change control to the Data Warehouse
Provide technical specifications for development or change of Data Warehouse
Project manage implementation of new models within Business Intelligence tools
Carry out business analysis and specify data/report specifications

You will have the following:

Significant experience working with BI tools such as COGNOS or Business Objects
Good understanding of database technologies & development
Business analysis experience
Experience of writing technical requirements specifications
Experience of system testing
Good knowledge of broad areas of IS concepts and practices
Proven experience of innovation and consistent achievement including participation in projects spanning professional boundaries/disciplines
Project management skills using a recognised methodology
Able to develop dashboard and scorecard reporting
Relevant product related technical training
Able to develop performance management reporting
Background of innovation and consistent achievement including participation in projects spanning professional boundaries/disciplines
Ability to give effective well-prepared presentations/briefings to others
Management Information system development
Educated to degree level (or qualified by experience to an equivalent level)
