Are you a skilled administrator with a passion for making a positive impact in the community? We're seeking a dedicated Housing Assistant to join our team at a reputable Housing Association based in Slough.

Position Overview: As a Housing Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our Neighbourhood Housing Lead and Area Housing Manager to ensure the delivery of reliable, consistent, and top-notch services to our residents. This is a three-month assignment with the potential to transition into a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide extensive support to Neighbourhood Housing Leads, ensuring continuity of service for residents.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of local demographics and issues, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Act as a flexible support and deputize for Neighbourhood Housing Leads during their absence.
  • Resolve resident issues and requests promptly and efficiently.
  • Liaise with residents to obtain feedback and provide creative solutions where necessary.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to residents and stakeholders.
  • Meet and exceed all KPIs, SLAs, and targets.
  • Respond to resident inquiries through various channels.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as data input, minute-taking, and invoice management.

Requirements:

  • Strong IT and administrative skills.
  • Ability to attend the office up to three times per week.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Knowledge of housing industry practices and regulations is desirable but not essential.

Benefits:

  • Umbrella rate: £19.55 per hour.
  • Potential for permanent employment (salary: £27,582) based on performance.
