Hotel Receptionist

Posted 20 March by Goodenough College

Nestled in the heart of the historic Bloomsbury district, The Goodenough Hotel is a sophisticated, luxury hotel steeped in history dating back to the 19th century. Set within five Georgian townhouses, The Goodenough Hotel offers a peaceful sanctuary a stone’s throw away from the hustle and bustle of London life. The hotel is now looking for a Receptionist to work 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis including weekends and bank holidays. The shift pattern involves working between 7.00am - 3.00pm or 3.00pm - 11.00pm.

As a Receptionist, you will be responsible for creating an environment which makes guests feel welcome by offering a professional and friendly full front of House service. You will also be providing administrative support to the reservation teams.

Applicants must have relevant experience as a receptionist in a hotel or corporate environment, be fluent in written and spoken English and able to demonstrate excellent customer service. Due to the layout of the hotel across five Georgian townhouses, there is no lifts in operation. Applicants must therefore be capable of carrying out porterage services over the four floors.
