Installation Technician - Hot Tubs

A skilled and driven Installation Technician is needed to join the team at this leading hot tub company based in York on a full-time or part-time basis.

This role would suit a practical minded individual who is looking for a varied and physical role in a small and friendly team.

This could be a part-time role or full-time up to 40 hours per week, mainly Monday - Friday, with occasional weekend shifts. Occasional overnight stays for long-distance deliveries.

About the Role

In order to be a good fit for this role, you need to be able to drive vans up to 3.5 tons, have a practical mindset and aptitude for "tinkering" and repairs, good communication skills and customer service skills, as well as a positive and dynamic approach to your work. Ideally (but not essential), you have some experience in fault finding and troubleshooting as well as customer service experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver and install their range of products locally and nationwide
• Service and maintain hot tubs for their customers locally
• Service and repair hot tubs in their workshop in York
• Set up exhibition stands at consumer events nationwide
• General warehouse duties
• Advise customers on water care and product maintenance

Required Skills:

• Full UK driving licence
• High level of attention to detail
• Physical fitness and a drive to get the job done
• Self-motivation and a positive attitude
• Good communication skills
• Polite, customer focussed manner

Desirable Experience:

• Experience in repairs and fault-finding
• Customer service experience
• Sales experience
• Forklift licence
