Location: Wimbledon, SW19
Payscale: £94-£120
Duration: Permanent - Long-Term
Start Date: April 2024.

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a role in a positive working environment?

We are currently working alongside a wonderful Primary School based in the Wimbledon area. The client is seeking an experienced higher-level TA to join their great, proactive team. If you are passionate and love working with children of younger ages, this role could be for you!

As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant, your duties will conclude:

  • Prepare and deliver learning activities with individual pupils, small groups and classes.
  • Record and report on children's learning progress
  • Assist the classroom teacher and act as a mentor when the class teacher is not present.
  • Help with classroom preparation and assist with lesson planning.

About you:

  • Level 4 TA qualification desirable.
  • Have a positive personality and ability to remain patient in difficult situations.
  • Have a genuine interest in assisting children with their educational development.
  • Have excellent collaborative and communication skills.
  • Hold previous experience working in a school.
  • In-date DBS and two references.
