Qualified History teacher required for January.
The Chester based secondary school are keen to appoint an excellent History teacher, who is confident in providing high quality teaching and learning across KS3 and KS4.
To be successful in this role, you will need the motivation and commitment to contribute to the success of the department. The appointed teacher will be passionate about this subject area, and use this to inspire high achievement in our learners. The successful History teacher will be required to take responsibility for all planning, preparation and marking as this is a long-term placement but will have plenty of support from the other 9 staff members in the department. The successful History teacher would be expected to teach History to mainly KS3 and some KS4 classes, including GCSE. They would also be expected to teach some additional subjects across the Humanities department, including Geography.
To apply you must hold QTS, have recent experience of teaching within a UK Secondary school and be a History specialist or have substantial experience of teaching this subject. Applications will be accepted from NQTs.
