Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Are you a passionate Higher Learning Teaching Assistant ?
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a lovely Primary School in Watford .
The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support the delivery of high-quality education and contribute to the overall development and well-being of our students.
Location - Watford
Salary - £90-£110 per day
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher and covering the class when required
- Provide one-on-one support to students, addressing individual learning needs and promoting academic progress.
- Lead small group activities and interventions to support students' learning and development.
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to evaluate student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant qualification in Education or Teaching Assistance (e.g., Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification).
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA in a school setting.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and teaching methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- A passion for education and a commitment to supporting the success and well-being of all students.
