Job Title: HGV1 Drivers - Permanent Trunking Positions - January Starts!
Pay rate: £11.00 P/h when temp - £11.63 when permanent plus bonus & overtime
Shift: Mon- Fri: 19:00 ; Average 10 Hour Shift.
This is a genuine opportunity for a temporary position for the right candidate with pay rates from £11.00 per hour. Reliable and trustworthy drivers will become part of Encore Driving's approved driver scheme. As a result of this drivers will have the opportunity to earn free CPC training modules and the chance to up-skill their licence and become a more rounded candidate. This is a client that looks to really invest in their drivers. The client is prepared to get the correct driver training in terms of an ADR licence. Drivers will also benefit from working for a family run and owned company that ensure their drivers are really looked after.
Class 1 HGV drivers are required on a permanent basis in Birmingham. These are trunking positions with 2 deliveries on average per shift. This work involves deliveries to sites at secure locations so you must be able to produce a five year work history to be considered. With an average of 10 hours per shift drivers will not be required to perform any handball in this role. The client will provide training to upskill the correct drivers licence such as ADR qualifications. This position will require a interview and driving assessment. The correct candidate can start as soon as possibe!

Reliable, flexible and able to demonstrate excellent communication skills are a key attribute to this position. You will be able to keep calm under pressure, have good customer service skills and have an eye for detail. Minimum 24 months driving experience for insurance purposes and no more than 6 points for minor offences. You will have a good working knowledge of driver's hours legislation and an understanding of RT(WT)R .
