£42,000 - £434000 basic OTE £60,000

• Monday - Thursday OR Tuesday - Friday (8pm - 6.30am)
• Overtime on other nights paid at time and a half
• Sundays paid at Double time

HGV Technician Nights - We currently have a number of exciting opportunities for experienced HGV Vehicle Technicians for a long standing and well-respected commercial vehicle dealer in the Northwich area. Our client is constantly expanding and specialise in DAF and Renault service and repairs.

The job: HGV Technician / Commercial Vehicle Technician

It's essential for this role that you are a qualified Vehicle Technician, HGV and trailer maintenance is also an essential and an HGV licence would be an advantage.

• We are currently recruiting for HGV Technicians to join the team. The role of the HGV Technician is to carry out all aspects of maintenance, including servicing, inspection, repairs, MOT preparation, breakdowns, diagnosis and any other workshop related task that could be reasonably expected
• Servicing and repair of equipment to MOT standard.
• A high level of understanding of Legal Compliance and standards of Roadworthiness.
• Ensure workshop tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner to the required standard.
• Conducting inspections, repairs, preventive maintenance and MOT's on a range of vehicles.
• Completion of inspection documents and job sheets/timesheets to the highest standard.
• Strong commitment to health and safety.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with customers and employees of all levels is essential, as are a 'can do attitude' and problem-solving skills.

Experience required: HGV Technician / Commercial Vehicle Technician

• It's essential for this role that you are a qualified Vehicle Technician, HGV and trailer maintenance is also an essential and an HGV licence would be an advantage.
• Have experience of servicing and repair of equipment to MOT standard
• Have a clear understanding of Legal Compliance and standards of Roadworthiness
• Be a qualified Commercial Vehicle Technician, preferably level 3
• A HGV license would be an advantage.
