I am on the look out for HGV drivers in and around Southampton and Fareham areas.

As an HGV driver with our company, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to our customers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Operating HGV vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Transporting goods to various destinations while adhering to delivery schedules.
  • Loading and unloading goods, ensuring proper handling and secure transportation.
  • Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the safety and roadworthiness of the vehicle.
  • Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
  • Providing excellent customer service, representing our company professionally at all times.

Requirements:

  • Valid driving license
  • CPC card
  • digi tacho card
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant driving experience.
  • Clean driving record with no major accidents or violations.
  • Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and driving best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
