HGV Class 2 Driver - Home Deliveries

LOCATION:                                   Basingstoke 
RATE:                                            £16.36 - £24.54ph
DURATION:                                  Full time hours available (TEMP2PERM)
SHIFT PATTERN:                          6am Starts
START DATE:                                Available Immediately!

The Role

Job Description

  • Salary: £16.36 ph.
  • Overtime: £24.54ph (optional).
  • Working hours: 06:00am starts (up to 12h shifts)
  • Must be able to work weekends.
  • Location: Basingstoke. 
  • Duration: Temp to Perm.
  • Full ‘on the job’ Training supplied.

Requirements
  • Full UK Driving License with Class 2 entitlement
  • Valid CPC Card
  • Valid Driver / Tacho Card
  • Aged 21 or older for insurance purpouses
  • Complete a theory and driving-based assessment
  • Vehicle safety checks
  • Complete multi drop home furnishing deliveries within the local area to customers’ houses (Some heavy lifting involved - 2-person crew)
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent customer service
