Job description (HGV CLASS 1 DRIVER WITH A MINIMUM 1 YEAR ON THE ROAD EXPERIENCE)

We are recruiting HGV class 1 drivers for our prestigious automotive client in Minworth, Birmingham.
Trunking-based work (no handball) or collections and trailer swaps (curtainside)
You may be required to work out of the following locations (optional):
  • Minworth (Midpoint Park) B76
  • Solihull (Damson Parkway) B92
  • Erdington B24

Various start times around the clock.  Ad-hoc shifts or full weeks available.

Monday to Friday with optional weekends

HGV CLASS 1 Pay Rates:
Days (0600-1800) £14.66 per hour - guaranteed 9 hours per day (8 hrs basic + 1 hr overtime)
Nights (1800-0600) £18.97 per hour - guaranteed 9 hours per day (8 hrs basic + 1 hr overtime) 
Overtime Nights (after 8 hrs) - £26.30 per hour
Overtime  Days (after 8 hrs) - £21.99 per hour 
Saturday Days - £21.99 per hour
Saturday Night/Sunday - £29.32 per hour
Bank Holiday - £29.32 per hour
Paid breaks
9 hours guaranteed per day
28 paid days of holiday
Weekly pay

Requirements:
Class 1 licence (UK issued)
Driver CPC (UK issued)
Digicard (UK issued)
MINIMUM 1 YEAR ON THE ROAD EXPERIENCE
coupling/uncoupling of trailers.
Max 6 penalty points
No DR or DD convictions
