HGV 1 Shunter (Night)

Monday to Friday, 1900-0700, plus weekend availability

£14.89 to £16.00 Per Hour (PAYE), Weekly Pay

Induction: 17th April 2024

TLP are recruiting Port Tug Shunters to join our customers’ operation based in Felixstowe, Suffolk. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking a new position with the benefit of working with Britain’s largest port.

Job Role:

• Operating a Tug with trailer
• Shunting containers throughout the port and supporting the rail terminal
• Communicating with colleagues and supervisors via a radio system
• 12-hour Shifts
• Three x 30-minute paid breaks
• Follow all health and safety procedures

Requirements:

• Valid HGV 1 Licence
• Previous experience driving on the Port of Felixstowe
• Undertake and pass medical, induction and training, as per customer requirements
• Punctual, reliable & trustworthy
• Excellent communication skills
• Comply with the strict Drug & Alcohol testing requirements
