Red Recruitment is recruiting a Helpdesk Operator to join our client who offers CCTV and Alarm Services to other businesses. The ideal candidate will be answering calls from clients, logging any issues that may need resolved and ensuring a full resolution of the issue.
This role is Monday to Friday, and the salary for this position is £22,308 per annum.
To be a successful candidate for this role, please note the client will conduct credit checks and background referencing (for the past 5 years).

- Salary: £22,308 per annum
- Hours: Monday - Friday, hours between 8.30am - 6pm
You will be required to work 1 in 4 weekends, as well as 1 bank holiday a year, you will get 2 days back in lieu after your weekend shift - you will receive your weekend rota a year in advance and there are opportunities to swap your weekends with your colleagues - Contract Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities of a Helpdesk Operator:
- Answering all telephone calls from facilities clients in a professional manner and logging all issues
- Ensuring the relevant team has been notified of any issues and the relevant assistance has been organised
- Managing a case to ensure it has been completed and the client is happy
- Being able to action all helpdesk cases and being able to use your own initiative to prioritise urgent cases (you will work by yourself on the weekend)
- Reporting the details of all faulty equipment to the management team
Key Skills and Experience of a Helpdesk Operator:
- You should be tech-savvy and enjoy using various systems at one time
- Having a professional manner as you will be talking to various individuals, within and outside of the business
- Ability to manage internal and external relationships
- Self-motivated, hard-working and dedicated are all required skills
- Due to the shift patterns, having a valid UK driving license is required, if not reasonable transport access is accepted
