FINTEC recruit is recruiting for a Health and Safety Manager for our engineering client based in Highland region.  This is a permanent position with salary up to circa £45,000 depending on experience.   You will be joining an H&S team working in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing and continuous improvement and development with the internal safety management system, ensuring compliance.
  • Be a lead in terms of promoting health and safety across the business and for projects
  • Advise personnel across the business on health and safety matters
  • Compiling safety reports and maintaining all relevant documentation
  • Ensuring m inimum exposure to workplace hazards and achieving 100% compliance on site
  • Involved in safety committee groups

Skills and experience required for the Health and Safety Manager role:

  • Degree qualification (desirable)
  • Qualifications in Health and Safety (NEBOSH or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in a Health & Safety Management role essential
