Working 39 hours per week Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m finish 2:30 p.m. on Fridays, Overtime available, paid at enhanced rates. This is a permanent role, salary negotiable by experience plus pension scheme, life assurance cover etc. You will be experience with product lifecycle management system for generating engineering packages Responsibilities: Provide engineering design solutions, working as a technical lead within the engineering team Supporting client requests for upgrades and for new product design Input into new systems and products for engineering design Create bill of materials and source suitable components and materials when required Skills and Experience required for the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer role: Proven mechanical design skills, able to generate design calculation Excellent Knowledge of manufacturing techniques and knowledge of gas and fluid systems. Knowledge of Pressure Vessel design skills using PD5500, ASME VIII, EN 13445 Knowledge of design standards and of industry guidelines and relevant codes, standards, regulations and procedures (Lloyds, DNV, ABS, DEFSTAN, MIL-STD).
