Employment type: Fixed term contract of 6 months, Part and Full Time with Flexible hours

Salary up to £27,000 per annum Pro Rota + Mileage paid

Passionate about healthcare? Xyla Elective Care is looking for Health Care Assistants to join our dynamic team!

Providing efficient and high-quality healthcare services is crucial, and our mission is to help NHS Trusts achieve this goal. As a Health Care Assistant, you can play a vital role in our pioneering clinical support service, aimed at increasing efficiency and quality across the healthcare industry.

Your main responsibility will be to take photographs of lesions and document them on patient electronic files. But that's not all! This exciting new service also presents opportunities to get involved in other duties, such as assisting with minor surgery, chaperoning within clinics, handling liquid nitrogen, simple wound dressings, and helping with the smooth running of the department.

Everyday you will...

  • Welcome patients and visitors to the Clinic, ensuring they are orientated and aware of clinic routines and facilities. These clinics will be held in community settings around the boroughs.
  • To take precise and accurate photographs of lesions/skin rashes
  • To complete any relevant departmental / Trust audits as requested.
  • To maintain equipment ensuring that it is clean and ready for use and ensure a safe working environment for patients, visitors and staff.

What will help you succeed in this role?

  • Having relevant HCA qualification or equivalent experience
  • Experience working in a clinical environment
  • IT literate
  • Driving license and access to a car
  • Be based within 30 minutes of Frimley we cannot accept applications outside of this area.
