Are you a dynamic Health and PE Teacher available from the end of April? Would you consider a long-term position until July 2024?

Tradewind are supporting one of our client secondary schools in the Wigan borough with their recruitment for a Health and Social Care Teacher, with the ability to cover Female PE lessons. This position is full-time, due to start at the end of April, with the potential to continue until the end of the academic year in July. Our client school are seeking a Health and PE Teacher to teach across KS3 and KS4, pay for this position will be up to £211.96 per day, depending on experience.

The appointed Health and PE Teacher will be joining a successful and unique 11-18 school who endeavour to offer the best to all pupils in the pursuit of excellence so that every child can flourish. Each member of the school community is supported in their individual journey as they explore the academic, moral, social, spiritual and cultural dimensions of their lives.

To be considered for this Health and PE Teacher position the essential requirements are:

  • QTS or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Health and PE across KS3 and KS4
  • Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new one
  • Full and complete career history
  • Minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference
  • Legal right to work in the UK
