SR2 are currently looking for a Head of Software Engineering with a strong background in .Net, C# and Azure functions for a key client of ours based in London.

This business is embarking on a huge digital transformation, and have recently received a significant amount of funding to grow out a brand new development team.

Key details:

Location: London (hybrid working).

Salary: Up to £120k + bonus + good bens.

So, what will you be doing?

  • As the Head of Software Engineering, you will manage the software development team and play a key part in shaping the future vision & direction of the company.
  • Your core responsibilities will include planning and managing projects, overseeing the software development lifecycle, liaising with external stakeholders and coding & developing software as and when required.
  • You will lead on projects across a range of situations & technologies and be responsible for guiding your team to success.
  • You will define and deliver roadmaps for the business, and identify the latest technologies to stay ahead of the game.
  • Be passionate about upskilling your team, so that they can move upwards or sideward into new career paths.
  • You will be directly involved in the hiring, and have a genuine say in who gets onboarded.
  • For reference, the current engineers work with .Net, .Net Core, C#, SQL, and Azure / Azure DevOps - so coding experience in this field would be a huge plus!
