They are now seeking an experienced Head of Procurement to oversee a team handling worldwide purchasing for a range of travel related services.
You will be accountable for the overall mangement of the procurement process, from supplier auditing through to negotiation, contracts and maintenance of supplier relationships, helping the organisation to improve efficiency, reduce costs and continue its expansion programme.
Reporting to the board of Directors you will ensure the procurement strategy is aligned to the businesses’ strategic goals. You must have a background within the travel industry, be passionate, innovative, able to motivate and inspire others and capable of taking the company to the next stage of its development.
The role will ensure that the procurement team develop and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, particulary in relation to hotels, flights and travel, with an effective means of reducing spend and monitoring quality of supply.
The successful individual will have a strong commercial approach, well developed leadership skills, the ability to influence, negotiate, drive through change and a determination to achieve excellence.
This is a key role where you will want to make things happen and make a difference.
