Head of Planning and Strategy Delivery, 12-month FTC.

Appoint recruitment are proudly supporting a prestigious educational establishment recruit for a Head of Planning and Strategy Delivery on a 12-month fixed term contract.

Founded in Bath in the 1800’s our client has a respected history as a leader of excellence in their field.

You will be required to lead the development of decision support arrangements to implement a change in culture across the establishment. You will be acting as a Programme Manager for the execution of a new strategic plan by coordinating activities and monitoring achievements through reports. Working alongside to board, you are expected to ensure all projects deliver benefits to meet strategic objectives. Your key objective is to safeguard the planning process to integrate strategic implementation plans. You will be expected to manage assigned staff and resources effectively in accordance with policies. In addition to this you will be required to work closely with the Chief Operating Officer, the Head of Finance, the Registrar, the Director of IT Services, to ensure that processes are continually improved to service the needs of students and staff.

Candidate requirements

It is imperative that you have good technical knowledge of reporting and analysing data requirements. A clear understanding of planning processes, investment appraisals and return on investment decision making.You must possess excellent communication and influencing skills and the ability to meet high standards under pressure.

Education and Qualifications

Due to the nature of the role 5 years management experience in information management, information systems, planning and/or finance is essential. You will ideally be educated to graduate level. It is also desirable if you hold a MSP and Change Practitioner or equivalent qualification.

Salary: £53,691 - £56,950
