Manchester City Centre- 2 days in the office per week

Salary £50- £60k

This is a genuinely exciting and really unique opportunity to join an award-winning and large scale digital agency in Manchester City Centre as their new Head of Performance. You'll be pivotal in helping to steer the strategic direction of the performance team which encompasses PPC, Paid Social and SEO and will have responsibility for driving growth across client accounts whilst enabling the teams development and progression.

Core of the role:

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to really nurture a team of 6
  • Proven hands-on expertise across Paid Media channels- PPC & Paid Social
  • New Business experience and the capability to contribute to new business pitches

As Head of Performance you’ll ensure the agency are delivering on campaign optimisation, innovative thinking and ultimately achieving ROI across all client accounts. They are looking for someone with a deep understanding of digital marketing (predominantly Paid Media) who can lead the performance of campaigns, jumping into accounts when needs be – but also enabling the team to produce results.

You’ll act as a thought leader when it comes to PPC, Paid Social and SEO, and will be a voice within the agency across multiple teams, playing a key leadership role.

Experience:

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to develop and really nurture talent
  • Prior experience in a performance marketing position-  with a proven background in Paid Media and Paid Social-  (and SEO ideally) but the core of the role is Paid Media
  • A passion for developing digital performance strategies that deliver for clients
  • Experience of actively working across Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Advertising etc
  • Used to communicating actionable insights to clients
  • Ability to lead across new business growth and drive forward the digital marketing offering for the agency

This role would suit a Paid Media Manager or Paid Media Director who has the proven ability to oversee a close-knit team, but who may be looking for the opportunity to broaden out more and get involved with wider channel teams across SEO, Data, Insights etc. Alternatively you may already be a Head of Digital or Digital Acquisition Manager looking for a new opportunity to grow.
