Hours: 39.5 hours per week
Salary: Up to £75,000 pa

About the role:
Due to their phenomenal growth our client is looking to recruit a Head of Marketing to lead, inspire, develop and manage their ever-expanding marketing team.
If you’re on the way up the career ladder and have your sights set on becoming a future Marketing Director, then they want you as part of their business. Their combined marketing team of 20+ incorporates a Marketing Manager, Creative, Digital Traffic, e-Commerce, Site Trading, Brand and Offline. You must have led a similar sized team previously, motivating them and managing their needs and career progression. You must be highly creative with a commercial mind-set and the instinct to sell. Above all, you’ll be driven to succeed in a fast-moving and competitive environment.
Your focus will be to help transform their marketing function driving profitability and customer retention in the competitive online retail environment in which they trade. You will achieve this this by leading the team to creatively improve their customer journey, adding a brand-dimension to all that they do and by increasing onsite conversion.
To be considered for this role you will have experience of leading a marketing team for an independent large online retailer with working knowledge of creating a creative CRM strategy and the delivery of effective direct marketing campaigns. Previous experience of retail and product brand development would be essential to the role.
Extensive knowledge of digital marketing and a strong interest in and understanding of digital technology and its application within the commercial world is required as well as exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. You’ll have the ability to communicate effectively and concisely and build strong working relationships within your team and with their commercial team and other departments.
You’ll have extensive experience of managing digital and offline traffic. You will be familiar with marketplace trading activities to support your focus on increased conversion. It is also essential that you have strong and analytical skills.
