Our client are not quite like anyone you would have heard of before. However, what we can tell you is that they are at the top of their game, working with high end retailers, luxury boutiques, designer brands, and FTSE listed retail conglomerates.

They are looking for a talented, ambitious, and high-achieving logistics expert to oversee the delivery of shipments and the planning and executing of installations and surveys.

You will be supported by a team of three in this fast-paced environment and work closely with the Project Manager to manage a team of experts within logistics.

This is highly varied role with some of your most critical responsibilities including advising the project management department on all relevant logistical matters globally and keeping them up to date with current market rates.

Following briefing from the Project Manager you will manage all aspects of the logistics, including materials planning.

You will be given the autonomy to vet new suppliers, and manage them.

At the same time you will need to be keeping the account handlers updated of the project delivery in order to manage client expectations.

In addition to the above, you will be acting as a mentor and coach to more junior members of staff in the logistics team through sharing your extensive knowledge.

Ultimately, this role will sit in the heart of the business, as you oversee logistics and installations of key projects. So, we are looking for someone who can prioritise, work well under pressure, and juggle multiple tasks at once.

Skills wise, it would be ideal if you have SAP or ERP experience, and if you have previously been involved in tenders.

However, it is much more important that you are able to fit into the team, with a good sense of humour and a real passion to achieve great results.
