Job Title: Head of IT & Business Systems

Location: Central London - 4 days onsite

Salary - up to £110,000 + £10,000 car allowance + Benefits

An exciting client are embarking on a new Digital journey for a one of their divisions and require a Head of IT & Business Systems to ensure the successful implementation of IT Strategies. The Head of IT & Business Systems will be joining a company that are going through a very exciting time of where they will invest, grow, and transform their business to provide a better service to new and old clients.

The Head of IT & Business Systems will have the opportunity to scope out and drive their IT strategy in their own style by building out new teams below them and working closely with the CFO to ensure a highly performant department.

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to align IT strategies with business objectives. Building out from scratch in a Greenfields environment
• Budget Management: Oversee a budget of over £4 million, optimising resource allocation and cost efficiency.
• Team Leadership: Lead a team of at least 5 professionals, fostering collaboration and high performance.
• Project Management: Drive high-level projects such as mergers and change initiatives, ensuring seamless integration of technology systems.
• IT Governance and Compliance: Establish and enforce IT governance frameworks and policies to ensure compliance.
• Service Delivery: Oversee IT service functions Desk, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and delivery of projects.
• Mindset: Someone who continuously assess the technical environment with a focus towards always wanting to enhance existing systems and infrastructure accordingly

Essential Skills:

• Experience managing a budget over $2 million.
• Operated as a Head of IT or a similar capacity in the past.
• Experience with high-level projects such as mergers and large transformation programmes
• Strong understanding of IT governance and compliance.
• Experience leading IT teams including Data Governance and Service Desk
• A continuous improvement mindset for existing systems and infrastructure
