A busy and thriving independent prep school in West Sussex is seeking a Head of Geography from September 2018. This is a full-time and permanent position.

This independent prep school offers a rich and broad curriculum within a framework of achievement, enjoyment and learning. The school is well known for its academic excellence and success, but also for its emphasis on building confidence and resilience amongst pupils and promoting kindness and respect. Facilities are excellent, providing staff with the tools to deliver stimulating and exciting lessons.

The Head is seeking a qualified and experienced Geography teacher to teach Geography across KS2 and up to Year 8 and Common Entrance. The successful candidate will be passionate about teaching and Geography and able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents. Experience of teaching Geography at 13+ Common Entrance or at A level is highly desirable, although all Geography teachers are encouraged to apply. It is hoped that the successful candidate will have a sense of humour, be well organised and prepared to involve themselves in the whole life of the school.
