Role:  Head of Fleet & Assets

We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Head of Fleet and Assets to join an award-winning and rapidly expanding national business. This senior leadership role involves creating and implementing an asset replacement programme to support the company’s growth and maintain its commercial advantage, working closely with the Procurement, Sales, Acquisitions and Treasury teams. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with substantial experience in fleet and asset management who is passionate about service and standards.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Collaborate with the Procurement to ensure the fleet and asset supply chain offers the best value and ability to meet operational needs.
  • Lead central and regional teams to ensure all assets, including fleet, are compliant, utilised efficiently, and meet operational requirements.
  • Manage workshop operations to balance workload, achieve consistent recruitment, and maintain skill levels in collaboration with the training team.
  • Onboard fleet and assets following transfers from acquisitions.
  • Engage in regular travel for meetings and site visits as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Substantial experience in a similar Fleet and Assets leadership role.
  • Proven track record of procuring and disposing of a variety of assets.
  • Experience in managing a large fleet of vehicles and remote workshops.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • A passion for service excellence and maintaining high standards.
