A premier technical production and consultancy organisation, part of a well-established group known for delivering exceptional service. We are in search of a Head of Finance to lead a dedicated team of five finance professionals.
Your new role
The Head of Finance will play a crucial role in guiding the financial strategy and operations of the company. You will lead a team of five, ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial information and support to the business. Reporting directly to the Group VP of Finance, you will be a key player in managing group stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the finance team to achieve excellence in financial management.
• Drive the financial planning of the company by analysing its performance and risks.
• Retain constant awareness of the company's financial position and act to prevent problems.
• Set up and oversee the company's finance IT system.
• Ensure compliance with the law and company's policies.
• Manage team workload to meet operational requirements.
• Directly engage with senior management and group stakeholders to develop cohesive financial strategies.
• Oversee the preparation and planning of budgets.
• Implement robust financial controls and processes.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience in a senior financial managerial position.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• Outstanding analytical and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in SAP and other financial planning software.
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
