This is a fantastic opportunity to join this global leader as part of the senior finance leadership team. The business, renowned for its progressive attitude to work-life balance and dynamic family friendly working practices is seeking a top calibre senior finance professional to lead a high performing team with a broad remit across a cost base of circa £500M, supporting the business across a diverse set of activities.
The role interfaces across a broad spectrum of departments ensuring effective cost control, financial planning, commercial analysis and guidance on financial matters. The broad nature of the role which touches all parts of the business gives a genuine chance to develop and
shine enabling you to gain experiences that could accelerate your career path. The scope of this role really can expand to the drive of the successful candidate.
You will also lead the Customer interface for discussion and agreement around pricing, business planning and budgeting for cost base aspects, providing central planning, consistency of assumptions, challenging the business on requirements and consolidating data for presentation and agreement by the management.
Additional duties:
* Timely and effective financial control to Capital Expenditures
* Responsible for completing the financial planning process
* Reporting actual spending against budget and forecast.
* Provides financial analysis and assessment of key KPI's to build and evolve business cases for capital programmes.
* Control the monthly closing process for the UK cost base.
* Provides timely data to the UK management team and finance community to facilitate decision making.
* For monthly reporting ensures the team provide value added qualitative analysis against progress and variances.
* Manages the year end forecast process, assessing business risks and opportunities with the aim and aim to ensure no surprises to year end closing.
* Supports the business workload planning process and co-ordinates the process for strategic manning and indirect headcount requirements.
* Represents the Cost Base Team for ERP implementation and transformation programmes ensuring harmonised processes and reporting are embedded into the UK team.
We are interest in speaking with high calibre qualified senior finance professionals with previous experience of managing high performing teams, strong technical skills coupled with FP&A expertise and a proven ability in running multiple activities and driving projects and tasks to completion.
