HEAD OF CREDIT RISK - FINTECH

£90,000 - £110,000 + BONUS

LONDON - REMOTE

An exciting unsecured lending Fintech company is currently hiring for a Head of Credit Risk. This role will involve taking ownership for all portfolios and their performance whilst working very closely with senior stakeholders in the business.

This role is an excellent opportunity to move into a fast-paced environment and take on real responsibility for business decisions.

THE COMPANY

This Fintech company started around 5 years ago. They are an unsecured lender and have always had data science, analytics and innovation at the forefront of their business model whilst keeping a flat structure and providing lots of opportunity for employee innovation and growth.

THE ROLE

You can expect to be involved in the following day to day:

  • Take ownership for portfolio performance across all portfolios
  • Work directly with senior stakeholders and investors reporting on performance of credit risk and what this means for the business
  • Oversee performance of credit risk models and strategies
  • Lead the development and implementation of credit risk measurement methodologies
  • Work closely with analytics, finance and operations teams
  • Lead a team of a couple of analysts

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience using Python or SQL is ideal
  • Significant experience in credit risk analytics
  • Unsecured lending experience is ideal
  • Strong numerical degree

SALARY AND BENEFITS

  • £90,000 to £110,000 base salary
  • Bonus
