Our client is a high end Property company based in Central London. They are currently looking for someone to oversee and Head up their Block Management Department due to the portfolio expanding! This is an excellent opportunity that would suit an individual with a background in either Property / Block Management or Surveying.

Duties will include:

*Managing a team of Property / Block Managers
*Evaluate Departmental workload and delegate workloads
*Evaluate pool of contractors for size, quality of workmanship and charges levels
*Carry out regular 'spot check' site visits to ensure all buildings are in good order in accordance with the RICS code of practice and deal with findings accordingly
*Set departmental procedures and ensure they are adhered to
*Have regular meetings with Block Managers, assist them with issues raised and challenge per-formance if required.
*Supervise expenditure against budgets
*ensure the portfolio is compliant with H&S regulations and all necessary Risk Assessments
*Ensure compliance with Section 20 legislation
*Have regular meetings with Directors


*Minimum 5 years' experience in property and block management
*IRPM / RICS qualifications (preferable but non-essential)
*Strong IT skills
*A valid driving license and a car (all travel expenses paid)
