The Head of Apprenticeships will play an integral role in the strategic development of the apprenticeship provision at an established education provider, delivering innovative solutions to meet the needs of learners and employers in Basingstoke and beyond.

Description

  • Lead the strategic development of the apprenticeship provision
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality apprenticeship programmes
  • Work closely with employers to understand their needs and tailor programmes accordingly
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements related to apprenticeships
  • Promote the apprenticeship provision to potential students and employers
  • Manage the apprenticeship team to deliver exceptional service
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of apprentices
  • Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance the apprenticeship provision

Profile

A successful Head of Apprenticeships should have:

  • A strong educational background, preferably in education or a related field
  • Extensive experience in managing apprenticeship programmes
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent understanding of the apprenticeship funding and regulatory environment
  • Strong ability to develop strategic partnerships with employers
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to promote the apprenticeship provision effectively

Job Offer

  • A salary of circa £49,500 and further benefits package.
