Head Chef / Sous Chef - Italian Restaurant
An extremely popular and busy Italian Restaurant located in the Furness peninsula (South Cumbria) is seeking a new Head Chef and 2 x Sous Chefs. The current trio are moving on to a new adventure after more than a decade of happy service and wish to hand over the reigns to a new generation before departure.
The restaurant is open lunchtimes and evenings 7 days a week and offers a varied menu of Pizza, Pasta, Chicken, Seafood and Steak dishes including a traditional roast dinner service on a Sunday.
The Head Chef, with support from a team of 7, must ensure all food hygiene practices are upheld and maintain a clean working environment - in addition to controlling costs and providing consistent, quality food. Nonetheless full training and support will be provided by the outgoing head chef / sous chefs.
The salary for the Head Chef position is £26k per annum in return for a 50 hour week - plus free accommodation with free bills, holiday entitlement and pension contribution. The Sous Chef vacancies have the same benefits as the Head Chef position with a salary of £20k per annum. All applicants MUST be eligible to work in the UK without the need of a certificate of sponsorship.
