Head Chef ~ £40000 ~ Pan Asian Hotel Restaurant ~ Cumbria

A hotel in Cumbria is seeking a Head Chef to help develop a brand new restaurant concept


Working under the hotel’s Executive Chef this role of Head Chef will see you taking on the responsibility of a brand new open plan, induction kitchen which will be serving the new Pan Asian style restaurant. This role will require you to initially work closely with the Directors in order to create the menus that will feature modern, clean, healthy dishes as well as some sushi and sashimi but then you will have full control. As Head Chef you will be leading a team of eight other chefs in the kitchen, ensuring that they are fully trained in all aspects of the kitchen before the restaurant opens. The restaurant seats 80-90 covers offering all day dining but with a smaller lunch menu.


All Head Chefs applying for the role must be experienced in Pan Asian cooking from previous positions although a full background in this area is not essential. This role needs a strong manager who can set up a new kitchen and control the team during the opening as well as going forward.
