Our client, based just outside Tonbridge, is looking for an HR Manager to join their team. This is a possible temp to perm position, with an immediate start.

The successful HR Manager will be reporting to the Director. You will be a core member of the management team, taking full responsibility for, and leading on, the delivery of a full HR service to the organisation and consulting with other group businesses, with sites in Brighton, Farnborough, and Salisbury.

You will be responsible for the planning and delivery of all human resources, talent management and employee relations matters, including recruitment and retention in-line with the values and ambition of the business. This role will be in an operational capacity, with regular travel to other sites for the delivery of an effective HR service, in addition to supervision of direct reports and to support staff and managers across the business.

Main responsibilities:

*Leading and directing the human resources team to deliver a comprehensive HR service
*Employee relations, including the management of absence, disciplinaries, grievances and sickness
*Measuring employee satisfaction and identifying areas for improvement and/or commendation
*Coaching managers on performance management issues and processes
*Providing guidance on the development of managers and their teams
*Management of organisational culture, employee engagement and associated projects
*Implementation and regular review of the training and development agenda
*Managing talent and succession planning, taking overall responsibility for recruitment activity and campaigns whilst being involved in the day-to-day operational duties
*Advising senior managers and directors on all HR law related matters
*Ensuring all company policies and procedures are up-to-date and in-line with current employment law and ensuring line managers are aware of changes in policy
*Oversee the delivery of the Health and Safety services across all sites
*Devise and deliver management, leadership and other professional training programmes as required

Qualifications and experience:

*Qualified to degree level or equivalent
*A postgraduate degree is preferred although not essential
*CIPD accredited (or equivalent) essential
*Experience in the field of HR within a health or social care setting preferred
*Superb communication honed in business partnering/advisory roles
*Ability to build rapport quickly with key members of the senior team
*Ability to represent the HR function as part of the wider group
*Confident directing HR and advising managers on all aspects of people management and development

Education, training and qualifications:

Qualified to degree level or equivalent in relevant subject is essential
Postgraduate qualification or equivalent is desirable

The following experience is essential:

CIPD accredited (MCIPD or above) with evidence of continuing
professional development.

Experience in the field of HR (preferably within a health or social care

Knowledge of evidence-based practice and best practice guidelines
Knowledge of legislation that affects area of work including standards
of professional practice

Experience of working in community settings and as part of a multi-
disciplinary team

Experience of non-clinically training or mentoring others

Ability to source information and benchmark services against best

Able to work as a positive role model and promote the development of
service excellence

Experience of team leadership and working collaboratively within a
multi-disciplinary team

Experience of managing daily team dynamics, including workload

Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to keep legible and accurate records in English, in-line with
professional standards

Computer literate, including report writing and analytics
Understanding and ability to work as a member of the wider team,
supporting the delivery of excellent services

The successful HR Manager will be:

Responsible, reliable and flexible approach to work
Organised and bale to prioritise own workloads, and others, with the
ability to work to deadlines and with competing priorities

Positive attitude to self-development and supporting others in doing so
Good communication skills and the ability to work in collaboration with
others effectively

The hours are 9am - 6pm, working a shift pattern of 5 days over 7.

Own transport is required, and there is parking on site.
