Group Reservations Supervisor

The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Reservation Supervisor to oversee our reservations department and ensure the smooth and efficient management of all reservations. The Group Reservations Supervisor will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing and overseeing the reservations department, ensuring the smooth and efficient management of all reservations.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue.
  • Managing a team of reservation agents, providing training and guidance as required.
  • Ensuring excellent customer service is provided at all times.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all reservations and cancellations.
  • Liaising with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to ensure a coordinated approach to reservations.
  • Preparing regular reports on reservations and revenue for senior management.
  • Identifying trends and patterns in reservation data and implementing strategies to address any issues.
  • Ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience working in a reservations supervisory role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • A good understanding of revenue management principles.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Proficiency in reservation management systems and Microsoft Office.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Experinece with Opera PMS and Opera Sales and Catering.
