We are seeking a Group Financial Reporting Manager to provide financial leadership and drive efficiencies within our organisation. The role involves ensuring alignment with group policies, maintaining robust financial control, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This position is ideal for a strategic thinker with a background in the travel industry, though this is not essential.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Align accounting policies and reporting processes with ddata Group standards.
  • Build and maintain a strong financial control environment and culture across the business.
  • Ensure thorough and appropriate balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Uphold financial control in line with Group manual and policies.
  • Manage consolidated reporting for actuals, forecasts, and budgets, including statutory accounts and group reporting.
  • Maintain, develop, and leverage finance-related systems.
  • Provide leadership, motivation, and development to the team, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Oversee balance sheet, cash flow budgeting, and forecasting processes, addressing concerns proactively.
  • Review and implement accounting policies and reporting processes for standardisation and alignment with dnata Group.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external auditors to enhance financial reporting and control environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in financial roles, with travel industry background preferred but not essential.
  • Knowledge of accounting standards and financial control frameworks.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to re-engineer and improve business processes.
  • Familiarity with travel industry regulatory rules and environment.
  • Leadership skills with excellent influencing and negotiating capabilities.
  • Analytical, numerate, self-motivated, and solution-oriented.
  • Organisational and time management skills.
  • Commercial acumen with a focus on improving revenue and profits.
  • Great attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and team management skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficient in reporting and presentation.
