Reporting into the Executive Chairman you will be tasked with, as a senior Finance Director,
developing a first class function fit for a business with £40m+ revenue, and in doing so you will provide the Chairman and individual company CEOs, with the financial clarity and strategic support to assist in the execution of long term growth plans.
You will be expected to:
*Provide leadership to the Finance and Accounting strategy, to optimize the group's financial performance and strategic position.
*Contribute to the development of the Company's strategy, challenging assumptions and decision-making as appropriate and providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets and business drivers.
*Oversee corporate financing: manage company policies regarding capital requirements, debt, taxation, grants and equity.
*Take ultimate responsibility for the group cash management and treasury activities and policies.
*Ensure that Group's financial systems are robust and support both current activities and planned future growth.
This is a high profile appointment in the UK Boating industry, an autonomous role with strategic influence and responsibility for supporting the success of the businesses. Therefore, as the Group Finance Director, it is expected that you will have extensive finance management experience in the boating, manufacturing or construction sectors, with a successful track record of leading a finance function within a complex business. You will have a solid finance background with ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualification in addition to 10years+ experience in industry; being a commercially astute, articulate, technically strong, dynamic, insightful and influential leader, with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels.
