Our Client is a thriving, multi-award-winning travel management company, seeking a skilled Groups and Events Consultant with Amadeus skills to join their dynamic team. With over 30 years of experience, Our Client has evolved from a small travel store into a multi-million-pound business with offices in Kent, London, and India.

Group and Events Consultant - What Will I be doing ?

  • As a Groups and Events Consultant, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to the success of the Groups and Events team.
  • Crafting compelling and relevant client proposals, demonstrating exceptional destination knowledge.
  • Booking individual and group travel arrangements, including flights, rail, hotels, and ground transportation.
  • Identifying opportunities for additional services and events.
  • Providing excellent client service, obtaining feedback, and supporting ongoing business processes.
  • Travelling with clients as required and handling on-site issues during events.

Group and Events Consultant - What experience do I need ?

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a tour operator or travel agency, with strong Amadeus knowledge
  • Experience in flight/rail booking, conferences, incentives, and seasonal parties.
  • Willingness to attend industry events to enhance knowledge and relationships.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven destination knowledge.
  • Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office and online meeting tools.
