URGENTLY REQUIRED - We are recruiting for a GROUP ACCOUNTANT to join our busy client based within the West Moseley area. (Please note is role is fully office based)

Duties would include:

  • Accounts payable/ receivable, Sales Ledger, Billing and Credit Control
  • Carry out credit checks & risk assessments on new clients
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Profit share
  • Prepare budgets for all companies
  • Update and reconcile daily cash flow with bank statements to maintain accurate financial records
  • Oversee accounts payable processes and ensure timely and accurate payments
  • Conduct year-end tax computations for all companies in compliance with tax regulations
  • Manage PAYE and corporation tax liabilities, payment, queries and appeals with HMRC on a monthly basis
  • Prepare year-end accounts for all companies within the group
  • Prepare Quarterly consolidation accounts for reporting to the bank
  • To manage and ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements for the company
  • Handling any other requirements within accounts department

Experience needed:

  • 5 years + experience within all aspects of accounts/ finance
  • FCCA qualified
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Good knowledge Microsoft Excel
  • Systems used: quickbooks and MS
  • You should be self motivated
  • Attention to detail

Working hours:

  • Monday- Friday 0900-1730

Salary range: £50-70k DOE
