Are you looking for the opportunity to work across solar and storage projects from early stage development through construction and into operation stages. This might be the role for you!
This fully integrated developer in the Solar & Storage are looking to grow their development function out through the crucial addition of a Grid Manager. They work from green field development all the way through to the operations and maintenance of assets. You'd be joining the development arm of the group in a position that hasn't been taken before, so the full remit would be determined by you!
The organisation have a unique business model. They develop projects inhouse, co-development and purchase RTB build projects that they then work closely with EPC partners to build, own and operate. They have a strong relationship with an investor, related to the group, however, have worked with other investors in the space. As a result, they now boast a portfolio of over 1GW, half at late development stages, and half fully consented.

The role:
This is a brand new position for the team, at the heart of their development arm. You'd need to be ambitious and entrepreneurial, ready to work closely with both the development and asset management teams within the group, as well as other stakeholders within the team.
This will be a varied position, and they're flexible to mold the role around your skills as it is new to the organisation. The core of this opportunity will be:
- Managing major grid milestones, ensuring they are delivered in a timely and sensible manner.
- Ensuring that all projects have the essential documents and are compliant to standards.
- Making sure designs are accepted through these stages, liaising with ICPs for stage 1 designs through development and construction stages.
- Picking up grid offers and seeing these through to completion, liaising with DNOs and TOs for these agreements.
- Gaining and managing point of connections for HV projects.
